Another year at Hogwarts had come and gone, and tonight at the feast the house cup would once again be awarded, for now however with the end of N.E.W.T examinations and with the fact that they would be returning home tomorrow on the Hogwarts Express seventh year students now faced one last opportunity to enjoy time with their younger friends as well as enjoy the school grounds one last time before braving the scary world of adulthood.

There was no way to describe it... it truly was hard to believe that in a few short hours he would be putting on his uniform for the final time. Korbin walked the edge of the lake, his eyes watching as one of the giant squid's tentacle pulled itself out of the water. No more would he be welcomed upon these grounds... well not for the forseeable future anyways... 

Soon he would be applying to become a healer... it would be a difficult task but he had done it before. He had thrived from difficult situations... but first he would just have to overcome the feeling of grief that was starting to dwell within him over leaving the school to explore the larger world beyond its gates.

Raine a second year was quite excited to see a ceremony. She's only seen one graduation before and that was last year. She wondered if it will still be just as exciting as it was last year. All she knew it was going to be fun. In a way, she was graduation too. Well, graduating up to a third year that is. But that is still major as she gets to pick electives next year and doesn't have to be considered the youngest player that Hufflepuff has unless they pick all upper years then she would be. Heck, she was amazed that she had made it this year.

As she made it to the Black Lake she saw the Giant Squid's tentacle and smiled a bit. She thought about going swimming but the ceremony came first. She also couldn't wait to go home and back to her family members. She didn't realize that she had run right into Korbin. "Sorry Korbin didn't see you there." She said to the seventh year Hufflepuff. She saw someone a while back calling him Korbin so she figured that was his name. She also recognized him from her house. She looked around to see if there were other second years there.

It was amazing how fast the year had gone; it only seemed like yesterday that he stood before his first class yet here he was watching on as his first lot of Seventh years enjoyed their last full day at school. His work as a Professor was still far from done as even with the help of magic he still had many exams to analyse and mark (especially since the full moon was approximately a week ago). Despite the mountainous amount of work that he had ahead of him though he found it important to try and spend time with his students like this.

Bonding with them was an important and essential part of his teaching philosophy, especially if he had to spend seven years with them and could come across as a hard ass at times...

He simply stood beneath one of the trees and watched the youth from afar, not wanting to seem like a creep yet not wanting to make the interactions between students awkward.

His trunk was already packed, in fact he had been preparing to leave school for the past week. This year was a tough year for Talon. It was a year where he really started to feel different from his peers... more different than ever to be perfectly honest. So he was kind of glad to be leaving the castle, but at the same time he didn't want to leave. This was a place that as the darkness descended had made him feel included despite his race... despite his mother having been a giant.

With nothing left to do, he found himself wandering the grounds; unsure of where exactly he was going to go to and what he was going to do.

This was it. This was the day that he had been dreading.

Decisions were to be made. Choices... No. Ezra was not ready for this moment. He was not ready to come face to face with his father with any sort of decision as to what he was going to be doing for the rest of his life. That wasn't to say that there were not a few offers out in the muggle world that had been handed to him. His father especially was trying to pressure him to work in the family business; a gentle, kind man who had only did his best to support his son who was so different from the world that his father was used to.

What was he going to do? Biting the inside of his cheek, the graduate could not help but try to take even breaths. Everyone was going to be here for this. The dark haired youth had even invited the shop owner from Hogsmeade but would that man actually show up to this?

The sounds were growing louder meaning that the graduates were finally gathering together. Taking a look up from his book, the professor could see varios students donning the school robes for what may be their very last time. It was hard to tell with the young ones who would be likely return to this school in the future. There were many that had the potential to soar far above so many others. Then again, much as the Sorting Hat said to those who first come through the doors, the choice of decision was something to take into consideration. 

Smirking as he watched a few of students try to prank one another with their wands, he wondered how long it would take before he would have to step forward and say something to someone. Victor wasn't about to take their fun away on their special day like this. However, the dark haired teacher was the type to enjoy following the rules. And if he needed to step in, he would.

Why did the robes have to be so long?

It was so obvious from the various sounds of heels clicking against the stone that some of the graduates had decided to wear nice, short dresses. Was it really so horrible to wish for a gust of wind to blow past one of the crowds? Jayson knew that this was going to be where he was going to have to be next year but that didn't mean that the young student couldn't have a fantasy or two; even one as perverted as his was. 

He was more than sure that if Jupiter were around, the woman would likely bop him on the back of the head for even having the dirty thoughts in his head. Worse would be if she saw him trying to use a few spells to create the wind to blow through. His only thought as to why no wind was forming was due to to some barrier by the professors. That was a real shame though totally understandable.

Another year had come and gone, and while Chryssa was glad it was over, she was also sad to see it end. A lot of students that she'd gotten to know and become friends with were leaving. Five years was a long time to be around, and she'd made some good friends on the way. She walked about, a smile on her face as she spoke to the students and fellow staff, congratulating the seventh years on how well they'd done.

Looking off at the edge of the crowd, Chryssa smiled as she spied her favorite person, and gently made her way through the crowd, her family's traditional robes flowing about her, she having decided to wear them for such a special day just as she'd done each year since she'd started working at Hogwarts. Her hair was pulled back into a tight, intricate braid that reached down past her waist.

The healer smiled as she approached. "Hello Cognac. How are you feeling?" she asked, knowing that he was probably still slightly recuperating from the full moon that had occurred about a week ago.

Another Year Gone

Lulu insides were doing a conga. It was a last feast of the year which meant that it was the house cup would be awarded and it was last feast for the seventh years. It also meant that this time next year it would her last feast and that thought was both scary and exciting at the same time. Entering the room she made a beeline for the Hufflepuff table. She stopped at as she passed korbin derrick and @jenny3 and wished them congratulations and good luck for the following year before taking a seat next to @raine at the table. The second year was a sweetheart and though she was not a prefect she liked to think she was a bit of a mentor to the young witch. They were both Chasers on the Quidditch team after all. "Good evening Raine, how are you this fine night," she said with a wide smile her dark eyes sparkling. "I have been thinking why don't you I get together over the summer. A little shopping and a little flying always makes the summer fun.."
