Nate was in love. Absolutely, disgustingly in love with Daniel Kipper. Dan meant the world to him and he couldn't see himself being with anyone else. At the current moment though, they were both in the library. Nate had to study for Transfiguration but his attention wasn't fully on it. Flipping a page in his book, Nate bumped his foot against Daniel's but acted completely innocent as he kept reading his textbook.

Books about Transfiguration were piled up high all around them. It was hard to concentrate knowing that there was a perfect man sitting across the table from him, and even harder still given the fact that there was no urgent need to study the subject such as an impending test or exam, yet he still tried to persevere. They had their OWL exams this year after all and the more reviewing they could do now the better off they would be… right?

But temptation was a devil and when Nate decided to play footsies with him. He slowly looked up from his textbook a smile on his face as he retaliated, running his foot up the shin of Nate.

Nathaniel was well aware that he should probably buckle down and study. It was only the beginning of the school year but even so, OWL exams were important. At the moment, though, he thought that they could definitely do with a little break.

Nate bit his lower lip and smiled as his boyfriend retaliated and ran his foot up his shin. "Just because I wanted to," he said as he moved a little closer to Daniel. "We'll go insane if we study too much."

There was no denying the fact that his boyfriend was extremely cute when he bit his lip the way he was, and in fact he felt extremely lucky in that regard. Exactly what did he do to deserve being able to call Nate his boyfriend? 

"That's what you think!" 

Nate should have known him enough by now to tell that he was joking. In fact, if he didn't know that he was joking then he would probably drop dead right there and then. He continued to run his foot up the boy's shin, liking the physical reactions that it was causing, but this time he also did the same with the other foot.

"I don't think that anyone has ever been driven to insane ward of St.Mungo's from OWL studying... E for effort though Schultz."

He gave his boyfriend a wink with a laughing sort of smile.

Nathaniel chuckled at his boyfriends joking words. He was definitely more interested in flirting with his boyfriend than he was studying for his OWLs which he made evident by pushing his books away and moving a little closer.

Daniels feet were touching his shin and Nate didn't know about studying but Daniel's touch could certainly drive him crazy. "Never know, we could end up the first ever," he teased as he inched a little closer with his seat making slight scraping sounds on the floor.

As Nate pushed away his books it became increasingly clear that studying was off the table, especially as Nate moved closer and closer, the second movement causing more noise than the first. He couldn’t take it anymore and with a slight sigh he closed his own books before looking Nate straight in the eyes.

“Careful there fly boy, in your excitement you’re going to give us away.”

A large grin broke across his face as he reached across and took his boyfriend’s hand into his own.

“There isn’t exactly a room we can go to either if someone tells us to get one. So what exactly do you plan on doing anyways if we do die from studying for our OWLs?”
