Zach saw Melissa give him a dirty look. Did she really blame him for Albus not having a good time? Zach crossed his arms and a frown formed, but he continued to listen to the conversation. He couldn’t believe his ears! Did Albus just turn down Melissa’s offer? The little brat! he thought, “Saying no would be a big mistake. The second Melissa walks away from this deal then you’re mine and I can do whatever I want with you.” Zach threatened.

Testosterone was flying. Following the threat the young man locked eyes with Zach. A passionate fire burned in his eyes. That threat was a call to arms and to be quite honest, had he not had had the information about what 'Uncle Lupin's' life was like then perhaps he may have sided with them... even with the threat against him, but the threat only added to his desire not to join them in a life of eternal pain and hell.

"You know threatening doesn't help one decide to join you... so yes, I am saying no."

He spat at the ground by Zach's feet. His blood boiling. He wanted to be a cool kid, but if this was the price of popularity then they could keep the bite to themselves. And with that Albus began to make his way towards the door and the street outside.

Melissa frowned. She couldn't remember the last time she had been so disappointed in a recruit. She shook her head and looked down at the ground where Albus had spat at Zach. Melissa looked back up and turned to Zach and whispered in his ear, "He's all yours." she stated before walking away from the scene that was about to unfold.

Most of the guests who were werewolves had made their way outside waiting. Melissa headed out to join them unwilling to watch whatever Zach was going to do to the first year that had disrespected him.

Zach hear himself growling at the first year that he had been ever so patient with, but spitting at him? That was it. He didn't care if Melissa had hand picked the runt and at this point she didn't seem to care either. Zach could feel her breath as she spoke to him, "he's all yours." he smirked.

he watched as albus made his way towards a different exit than melissa. she had a secret way out that not even zach knew about. Zach pushed albus outside. "you've always pissed me off, but tonight... you made the biggest mistake of your life." he took off his jacket and tossed it aside as he took a look at the full moon come out from behind the clouds.

zach had taken on his form as a werewolf. he snapped at albus and howled at the moon giving the boy a chance to run, but he wouldn't get far. there was no way that zach was going to let this one go...

For the first time, fear showed in Albus' eyes as the elder Slytherin grabbed him by the top of his uniform shirt and pulled him towards the street that was waiting outside. It hadn't occurred to Albus that tonight was a night close to the full moon until he noticed that those who had been at the party had now cleared out into the street.

Jackets and shirts were flying but Al didn't move to remove any of his clothing as he stood there paralyzed. Unable to move by either fear, an incantation, or both. His eyes were forced to take in the most nightmareish of sights. A sight that many never survived or remained human afterwards.

As he stood before a fully transformed werewolf though that paralyzation that he was feeling seemed to have disappeared and he immediately started running towards an Alleyway, knocking down whatever he could as he past in an attempt to slow down the wolf. He was already at a disadvantage. The wolf was stronger and faster than him, not to mention the fact that the only safe haven was Hogwarts and there was no way in or out of those grounds except for the passage that he had been taken through which lead them right into the heart of the castle. 

Not only did he not remember where that tunnel came out here in Hogsmeade, but the fact that he was knowingly putting the entire student population in danger of a rampaging werewolf was bound to lead him nowhere but to detention... especially when the Ministress of Magic probably had it in for his father after what had gone on in the build up to the second wizarding war.

Zach was suppose to let out a howl to signal the rest of the pack where he was so that they could join him in this hunt, but when Melissa walked away it was a signal that he could do this on his own. More importantly, Zach wanted to do this on his own. After having to baby sit Albus Potter and then to have the punk spit on him? He was dead.

Zach chased after the boy once he remembered to run. He had no where to go. Zach reached out and scratched him. It wasn't anything too serious just enough to make him panic even more than he was. He snarled at Albus giving him another chance to run. Next time Zach wouldn't go easy on him.

He ran and ran, not really knowing where he was running, after all this was his first time traveling the streets of  Hogsmeade without following his mother around. He didn't know where he was, nor where he was going. In fact he was running straight for a dead end... something he didn't realize until it was too late.

"No! Please no! Come on! Come on!"

As the wall blocking his path came closer he searched for anything that would provide a path to safety. A fire escape, a dumpster with a gap wide enough for him to slide behind but too narrow for the werewolf to get at him. But there was nothing.

He was doomed. Doomed to become a werewolf. Doomed to be cursed.

Zach always loved a good chase, but c'mon. This was hardly anything. He was even going slow to see if the kid could find a way out so that he could end up sprinting after him. Zach had no such luck as he watched Albus turn down a dead end. He stopped for a moment and let out a howl even though he was sure Melissa already knew where he was. Melissa was always the one who kept him from killing their recruit. She would need to be around for this. Zach wanted nothing more than to rip this kids throat out.

Zach headed down the alley towards their recruit had gone. He heard him pleaded. It was actually kind of funny. This kid was going no where. Zach swatted at Albus' legs and clawed his back. Eventually, Zach had his teeth clamped down on his mid section whenever he heard a growl. It was Melissa. That was her signal for them to head out. Now, it was up to Albus to survive on his own.
