For Jupiter, it was just another day. . . .just another boring day of the week. She was looking forward to when the term ended; she would be graduating, so when all was said and done, she would be leaving this place and moving on to bigger and better things in life. Honestly, she wasn't one hundred percent sure what those bigger and better things would be. She wanted to be an auror, but then again, she also wanted to work at Gringotts as a cursebreaker. Then, there was the option that her 'adoptive' parents had brought up, and that was being an Obliviator in the Department of Mysteries, the same department her 'adoptive' father worked in. Jupiter really loved the wizarding family that had taken her in after her Muggle family had thrown her out; they really opened up a lot of options for her.
For the time being though, Jupiter was relaxing in the common room which was strangely empty, but then again, it was a Saturday, so she figured that everyone else was mostly likely in Hogsmeade which she found to be a blessing in surprise since that left the common room empty and quiet for her to relax in. It was rare that a prefect got quiet moments like this during the day; it was only during the night when on patrol or bathing in the prefect's bathroom that they ever got a moment's peace. She was stretched out on the couch that was situated in front of the fireplace, the embers in it throwing off just enough heat to knock off the start of spring chill that was left over from the winter. She sighed happily, a smile on her face as she just listened to the silence, her eyes slowly opening as she thought she heard something, propping up on her elbows to see where the noise had come from.

The young werewolf could feel himself growing more irritable by the day. He had already knew that the days were drawing close to a full moon which meant he needed to start preparing. The time was still a good week off at best so there was no rush to get things done. Still, Jayson knew that he had to at least prepare for whatever was to happen whether that was the pain or the scars that he was likely to get from the change. One would think that he had done a fairly good job at covering most of the scars up with tattoos while he had been living in the States. However, getting tattooed while going to a wizarding school in London was proving to be a bit more difficult.
Sighing, the dark haired youth made his way to the common area. It was a weekend night and from what he could gather with his enhanced senses there were not that many students who were in the area. Why he didn't go to Hogsmeade this weekend, he did not know. A part of him knew that he was likely to berate himself over the next several days for not going to get his mother's favorite treat to send to her. Then again, his mother was good about his "time of the month" and understanding where priorities were. She would likely say that school came first in this situation. Only time would tell.
As he finally made his way through the corridor, his eyes turned to settle on the female student occupying the area. He made sure to nod in her direction before heading over to the small table by the window. He had a few hours at best to try to cram some notes in from one of the classes. The curriculum at Hogwarts was vastly different than what he had grown accustomed to back at Ilvermorny. Not that Jayson minded. If it wasn't for the fact that he wanted to try to catch a change at playing Quidditch this year he wouldn't really bother with trying to study.
