Devon took the coffee, taking a sip and made a happy noise as she tasted it. It was what she needed after what she had been doing. She had no idea what she’d do without Taylor around to make sure she stayed sane and not lose herself in the alcohol. She hated Hogwarts for taking her, but all she wanted was for her best friend to have a bright future and not drop out like she had. Devon had dropped out to help support her family, to keep her siblings safe from their father. She just needed to relax, she knew that well enough.

A shrug was shown by Devon as she eyed the ground and took another sip of the coffee. She hadn’t been able to sleep for the past few nights because she was overthinking again. ”Going to my own.” she remarked, eyeing the cup with a sigh and rubbed her face. ”I’m fine. Did you finally get a hold of your girl?” she asked, trying to get the subject off herself.
