Life could be hard when you had to make it your own. The twins had been going through so much with their mother and taking their siblings away from her. They gave the kids a new life and they kept their mother away from them. Sometimes Declan wondered what he could have done to make it better for his mother but whatever he tried failed.

The man sighed as he walked into the shop of his sister and plopped down on the couch in the waiting area. He had nothing better to do and he brought donuts!

Devon had been working in her own workstation hidden from view - something she enjoyed because she could focus on what she did for the living and the latest design was looking better than it had. The female was always museful when it came to draw up designs for muggles and wizards alike. The Irish female treated everyone the same, like friends or if someone messed with her family, enemies. Ever since she had left Belfast with her twin and the younger kids, she wanted to find something meaningful for herself. Tattoos had always stuck out to her and she wanted a career.

The female looked up when she heard the bell at the door as someone walked in and she put down the pencil she was working with to peek around the corner. It was a quiet day for her and she could use the company. ”Hey Dec.” she said, getting off her stool and headed straight for what she saw was donuts.

”You got my favorite?”

Declan held up the box as his sister greeted him and nodded with his mouth full. He swallowed his bite with a smirk. "Of course, nothing but the best for my sister." he put the box down on the little table and finished his own donut. He also brought coffee because he knew his sister worked her ass off here.

"What have you been up to?" he asked curiously as he made himself comfortable.

Devon was alone in the shop all day because she had to let go of someone else - and she hated herself for it. Last thing she needed was to get her business in trouble because someone tried to use used needles and she felt disgusted with the guy she fired. The business she had worked hard to build from the ground with the help of her family and she wasn’t going to let someone ruin it for her. This made her money so she can support the others - even if they were well off with Declan’s career.

The female had grabbed a donut out of the box, flopping down in the chair and started to eat it. ”Been working on new designs. No appointments right now. Fired a guy. I’m just been so damn bored for the past few hours. I debated on asking Taylor to get down here to entertain me but you’ll do.”

Declan was proud of his sister and how she managed to end up with the girl he knew she loved from the moment they met. He remembered her talking about Taylor all the time, missing her when she was still in school. The male grabbed another donut as he listened to his sister. 

"Well sadly I am not Taylor but I could ask her to stop by." he offered and smirked a bit. "Come on, you two sex rabbits are the loudest in the house." he said with a grin.

There was red in her cheek as soon as he mentioned them being loud in the house, making her want to kick him but instead she ate her donut to avoid talking about it. They had been together for a while and now, and a part of her wanted to make the commitment Sapphire had intended to do with her. Something was holding her back, and perhaps it was just replacing that lost love Taylor had for the deceased Young girl. Devon had bought a ring years ago, wanting to propose to her last girlfriend but it never happened.

A sigh escaped from her lips as she thought it over and looked down at her brother with a frown.

"Eh, she's busy." she said softly, grabbing a napkin on the table and cleaning off her hands. "Hmm."
