Del had always known what she was going to do with her life. It was a combination of her own choice and her father’s wishes but still it was her life and she had wanted it. Now there was no chance that would ever happen. One silly mistake had taken that from her and it would be easy to put the blame elsewhere but that was not the way to do it and it was definitely not her way. Her own kindness and the need to do what was right had gotten her into this mess.
Her parents wanted nothing to do with her now and maybe it was a good thing. She didn’t have to put up with her father’s holier than thou attitude and her mother’s bitterness and negativity. She would find a job and a place to live and try to find the positive in the negative that was her life.
She was currently staying at the Leaky Cauldron and that was fine for the moment. The staff were nice and the food was good but it couldn’t last, well the gold wouldn’t last. She still had a bit left after getting a new wand. She had no choice and luckily Brando’s in Knockturn Alley were just as good and nice as Ollivander’s. She wondered if the owner would be willing to give her a job, teach her to make wands. It was, after all, fascinating and she might be good at it.
She might think about it a bit more but thinking could only get you so far. She really need to talk to someone. Get an opinion from someone else...

When it came to overbearing parents who didn’t love you unconditionally, Teddy had no experience whatsoever. In fact the only experience that he had was the with his grandmother, but she was more the over protective type as opposed to the overbearing. He was lucky in those regards, although it did take him quite a while to come to terms with the fact that he would never get to meet his parents… especially when his father had been his idol.
Teddy crouched with his back against the shop wall, a pocket watch that used to belong to his father within his hands as he gazed at the sky with a reminiscent smile upon his face. A memory from his childhood taunting with him. More specifically: the memory that he called upon to make a patronus. It was the memory of hope that triggered the patronus more than the memory itself, a memory where he had been excited and looking forward to meeting his parents only to fall asleep in the hallway in front of the front door.
He was brought out of his reflective state however when he noticed someone familiar walking along the streets of Diagon Alley. He quickly gave chase, calling out to them.
“Delphina! Delphina! Is that you?”

Slipping out into Diagon Alley Del was not really paying attention to anything or anyone. Her thoughts, as they were usually these day, consumed with her predicament. She really needed to decide what she was going to do next. She didn’t like not having anything to do as her anxieties always flared when she was inactive. Her mind would wonder or she would get obsessive about a single thing and at the moment it was more the latter than the former. With her now keen sense of hearing her ears pricked at the sound of her name being called and she looked over her shoulder towards where she thought the voice was coming from. She saw him then, tall and incredibly cute and a huge smile, the first smile in a long time, appeared on her face. “My oh my, Teddy Lupin it is good to see you,” she said wanting so badly to hug him. “So what have you been upto since graduating.
