He is a friend of Aurelie's from her Beauxbatons days and the father of her children she had while human. He is currently living in England with them and has Amelie and Christophe enrolled in Hogwarts. Aurelie and Rainier were engaged to marry but she broke it off after she became a vampire. She feels bad for doing it because she still loves him. However, she doesn't want to tie him down to someone who can't give him more children. Little does Aurelie know that he is still in love with her as well. I see them finding their way back to one another, but it would be nothing more than a fling, unless he decides he still wants to marry her despite the fact Aurelie is basically dead. He knows she's a vampire but would need time to process that she can't have anymore children. Again he still loves her and is very protective of her and his two children. He really did want to marry her and if they do manage to get back together a wedding would have to wait until the war between the species is over. As mentioned before he would do anything to protect Aurelie because she can still die by decapitation or being set on fire. He hates that she's now in a position to be discriminated against by Umbridge. To better protect his former fiance' and because he also hates what Umbridge is doing, Rainier joined the wizards army (it's up to the player which of the open positions he is, but it's obviously a combat position). Aurelie worries about him being in the middle of the war because he's still human and she doesn't want him to get hurt or worse be killed.

Amelie is Rainier and Aurelie's daughter. She was born on May 15, 2005 along with her fraternal twin brother Christophe. She lives in England with her father. Amelie probably doesn't know her mother is a vampire because they want to protect her from that knowledge as much as possible. Amelie was named after her grandmother Evette because her name is Aurelie's mother's middle name. Amelie attends Hogwarts with her brother and they are in Gryffindor.

Christophe is Aurelie and Rainier's son.He was born on May 15, 2005 along with his fraternal twin sister Amelie. Christophe is older than his sister by 5 minutes so he is protective of her. He would be protective of his mother as well if he finds out about her vampirism.  Although he's 13, going on 14 he's the most mature of the twins so it's possible Aurelie feels like she can trust her son with the knowledge that she's a vampire. Christophe attends Hogwarts with his sister and they are both in Gryffindor.

Evette is Aurelie's mother and now she is a vampire. When Evette was human she was Muggleborn and she got her magical education from Beauxbatons.  She was turned as a result of Aurelie's bloodlust issues. She is very close to her daughter and she adores her grandchildren Amelie and Christophe. She thought Rainier was the perfect fit for her daughter but she understands why Aurelie had to end the engagement.  Her husband Renard and her youngest daughter Adelaide was killed by the vampire that turned Aurelie. Evette misses her husband a lot and she wants to kill the vampire that cursed her daughter with eternity and therefore cursed herself and her twin sons with it because Aurelie turned them as well. Evette has convinced her twin sons Pierre and Matthieu to go to England to find Aurelie so they can see what she's doing and make sure she's safe. She misses her grandchildren who write to her all the time. When Aurelie discovers her remaining family in England she would try very hard to keep them out of the war (only because she doesn't want anything happening to them) even though logically they would be in it now since they are vampires.

Pierre is Aurelie's brother and the identical twin of Matthieu. In school Pierre was a bit of a flirt so he probably would be the same way as a vampire.When Pierre  was human he was a half-blood and he attended Beauxbatons just like his sister did. A few days after Aurelie was turned into a vampire she ended up turning her brothers. Both brothers were hit hard by the death of their father and youngest sister on the day Aurelie was turned. The brothers rarely ever argue and are extremely close to their sister as they were born on the same day, June 8, 1980. Their mother has convinced them to go with her to England to find Aurelie and make sure she's safe. Aurelie wants to try to keep them out of the war, even though they're vampires as well, so she wouldn't lose the rest of her family. However, once they get to England, the brothers would insist on joining the Vampire Army in any remaining combat position so they could protect their mother and sister.
