Aurelie wasn't at St.Mungos when the attack happened a year ago but it seemed to be all she heard people talk about lately. The French woman didn't move to England until she was 26 years old in 2006. She didn't become a vampire until she was 28 and happened to run into an uncontrollable vampire in France where she was visiting with her family while her former fiance' took care of their twins. Her 13 year old son and daughter Christophe and Amelie were everything to her. They were pretty much her last remaining link to humanity. Without them in her life she probably would have ended up going mad with bloodlust again.
Her father and sister were long dead for they perished that very day Aurelie became the monster she was. All she had now was her mother and her brothers Pierre and Matthieu because Aurelie unfortunately damned them to eternity as well because she couldn't control herself after she became a vampire. Even though Aurelie hadn't been present for the attack on St.Mungo's she felt horrible that all of her co-workers had to go through something like that. Of course she had no way of really knowing what that day was like, Aurelie could only imagine how awful it must have been.
Aurelie still had occasional moments where she felt twinges of bloodlust if she went too long without a blood bag. Unfortunately now seemed to be one of those times and thank Merlin she was alone in her apartment instead of in public. She walked over to where she kept her stash of blood bags, her fangs coming out when the scent reached her nose. She picked up one of the packages of blood and within seconds she devoured it's contents. After she cleaned herself up she realized that it was almost time for her to head into work at St. Mungo's. She disappeared into her bedroom to change into the uniform worn by the Triage Healers and then she was on her way to St. Mungo's. Moments later she had arrived at the hospital and went to go see if anyone needed her help.
