Show me the way to Never Never Land If anyone noticed Jasmine they could tell the young female was quite nervous, and likely so for today was her first offical day as the arts professor for Hogwarts. Of course Jasmine understood what that meant and she fully attended to provide the knowledge and skills that the young minds here needed. She recalled taking the same class years ago, and loving every moment of it.
The arts was a way for her to express herself in ways she never imagined though it was sad when she couldn't show any of her family due to the bridge between them.
Reaching for the doorknob Jasmine took one quick glance in a small mirror she had handy and took notice her face still appeared to show signs of nerves. Shaking them off she beamed a quick smile before returning the mirror to her pocket and opened the door to the students that were there. All heads were on her now and she knew this was the right choice for her as she closed the door and then started walking down to her table.
"Hello, students! My name is Professor Bloodstone and I shall be your new art professor here...if you haven't or couldn't tell" she giggled which in part made one of the students giggle before stopping. "No no, go ahead and laugh, the arts are a place to show one's creative side to express one's emotions!" "So let's all laugh out loud!" she cleared her throat and laughed which then got the student's laughing in return.
"Now as since this is the first day" Jasmine pulled out her want before continuing "I thought you all could perform a small assignment that could show me your expressions on different emotions" She waved her wand to give them each a brown box. "Inside these boxes are a variety of gems, shells, and trinkets I want each and every one of your to create a piece of jewerly with it"
A student raised their hand and asked about the martiels needed to place the stuff on it and Jasmine pointed to her wand meaning they use their magic to create the material. "You can create the material needed for it but you must place the items on the thread with your hands" "If you need help don't hesitate to call my name" she then procedded to head over to her desk.

When he had chosen his classes last year, he had chosen art as a chance to get away. To take a moment to himself and away from those who would bully him for the glasses that were meant to be helping him with his eyesight. What he didn't expect however was for there to be so few males within the class. He settled himself down next to the only other boy that he saw in the room. "Didn't think we'd be this outnumbered..."His voice was fraught with an Irish accent, revealing his hometown of Belfast from that short sentence.

Ollie nodded at what his classmate was saying. He himself had been slightly disappointed by the ratio of boys to girls but he suspected his reasons were a little different to the Irish boy's. He considered the other. Professor Bloodstoneseemed fun, and Ollie could get behind her method of teaching. It seemed like she would be hands off. That let him focus a little more on Tierney. who until a particularly interesting artwork was produced, would be the most engaging thing in the room from Ollie's perspective. He'd never been too close with anyone IRish before, which he reflected a shame. That accent was sexy. He regarded the otehr for a moment before taking a chance in his own whisper.
"Guess we'd better stick together?" He asked almost purring the words, but he did his best not to sound too flirty, just in case he scared the other boy away. Still, he was distinctly interested and that would be made clear by the way his eyes ran down the other's body. Ollie reluctantly turned his attention back to the front of the class, expecting the teacher would probbably have a little more to say. Her forced laugh drew a bit of a chuckle out of him. He was a bit disarmed by what he regarded as a slightly silly manner.
