Reina found that the best way to keep her mind off things was to work. Of course she wasn’t been given a hell of lot to do these days but even the dullest of paperwork was better than nothing at all and she put everything she had into the paperwork like it was just as important as tracking a dark wizard or fighting a pack of werewolves or vampires.

She was filing said paperwork she the atmosphere in the office seemed to go from one to one million. There were memos and officials rushing around and voices both raised and hushed heard from all over level 2 of the Ministry of Magic. She saw someone rush into @hjp’s office and her eyebrows raised at that. Another colleague rushed by and she grabbed them by the arm.

“Hey, what’s all the commotion about?” she asked the frazzled worker

“A kid has gone missing from the Hogwarts Express. The Delacour boy they are saying. I heard it was the werewolves that took him.”

Reina let the worker go and he rushed off

“Oh,” she said her face paling.

The werewolf capture unit had been on high alert since the war began for many obvious reasons but today things had kicked up a notch. He had been working the night shift, but the moment that news came to them of the abduction of a Hogwarts child his shift had been extended. There was a possibility that the werewolves had violated the treaty that had been set up by abducting the minor from the school's property, and that meant that it was all hands on deck when it came to trying to find out what happened to this kid.

To make things worse, this was the second disapperance within the last twelve months... the first of course being the child of Hermione Granger. Given the nature of the case the werewolf capture unit was working closely with the Auror's department in order to try and return the victim as soon as they could, and it was Caiden that had been apointed as liason for his department.

He stopped beside Reina, unaware of just who she was.

"If it's a werewolf I swear to god that I'm going to lock him away and throw away the key..."

His statement may have seemed harsh, but it was a werewolf that had scarred him and taken so many lives already in this war.

The colour started to return to Reina’s face the moment that Caiden made his statement. It was not what he said that was the issue really. She expected it of him actually. He was a part of the werewolf capture unit after all.

Her issue was that he didn’t seem to recognise her. She had knew that she had not been present all that much of late but she was still a superior officer to in the Army being a Sergeant Major and him being a private. She was also an Auror and in her opinion he should have show more respect not only to the positions that she held but also to her situation.

“I have no doubt of that Caiden, but we make be certain that the child has been indeed taken by a werewolf and then you will have to catch the werewolf in question. That is not always easy to do,” she said her voice lowering and starting to shake.
