Here lay Dumbledore. A brave, and wise wizard. He was someone that Cato looked up to, and even though it had been numerous years since the man's passing and although barely anyone visited the tomb of the late headmaster Cato had made it a point to come out and visit his idol the day before most of the castle returned their families for two weeks.

The tomb was white and could easily blend in with the white snow that surrounded it if they weren't careful about where they walked, but having visited it earlier in the term he knew exactly where he should be going to visit it. A beige rucksack hung over the young man's right shoulder, his school books within it. Just because Professor Dumbledore was in the beyond it didn't mean that he didn't deserve some company after all.

Once he arrived at the grave, his left hand gripped his wand and he created a small reef of flowers to lay at the grave of one of Hogwarts more popular Headmasters.

Here lay a scholar. Here lay a leader. Here lay a legend.

He could only hope to be half the wizard that this man was.

Niven didn't have much of an opinion about Dumbledore. To him, he was just some old man that had died though valiantly. His tomb was respected by him though and he dust tend to hang around it. It was a place to think of the man after all, not to canoodle.

He was just out for a walk that happened to take him by the tomb when he noticed someone there. “What are you doing?” He asked curiously as he approached the boy and noted the flowers. Paying respects, it looked like.

His back was facing the newcomer as he made a movement much like one would remove the dust that sat upon a ledge, but with the wind and the other elements that had hit Hogwarts over the years, there wasn't any dust to remove. The sudden voice breaking the silence, however, did cause the young Prefect to jump out of his skin. In fact, it was a rather unexpected company as he had assumed that very few of his generation actually thought to pay respects to the past Headmaster given the time of peril they now found themselves in... especially with the disappearance of the two young wizards from the same clan.

"Thought I would come and visit a forgotten war hero... what about yourself?"

He turned to face the newcomer after he had answered by asking him a question in return. It was only then that he realized that he didn't know this young man which meant one of two things: he was younger than him... or he was older than him. It didn't matter all that much at the moment though... the only thing that seemed to matter was the fact that this man seemed to leave him lost for words. Just looking at him made his mind go blank.

He rushed a hand through his hair, stalling for time in hopes that his mind would clear.

But it didn't. It wouldn't. 

His eyes were locked upon this male. Surely he was spoken for. Surely someone as good looking as him was taken.

"I only ask because many find history boring... no one comes to visit the dead. They only care about the now. And here you are here... and I'm here and you're here... and this is probably the largest number of visitors that he's had since the first few years after the war..."

His nerves caused him to speak in rapid fire. What was wrong with him? Why was he acting like such a socially inadept fool?
