Reverie | Sonia knew that there were probably muggles, witches and wizards that admired the thought of immortality. That had been the eventual goal of someone like that dark wizard Voldemort years ago after all. She often wondered why he never considered becoming a vampire. It was the epitome of eternal life after all and he would not have damaged his looks either but then appearance didn’t seem to be a factor in his search for eternal life. Was the dying and ingesting someone’s blood and being essentially resurrected that turned him away from going that route? He died anyway on more than one occasion it seemed and he never seemed to have a problem with blood either so she couldn’t understand why he had thought ripping his soul apart would be a better option? It was the thought of being a vampire that was the problem then. Other witches and wizards, especially pure-blooded ones wouldn’t follow someone that was ‘diseased’ and it would not matter that their ideals were the same. All they would see was a half-breed of some kind and that was worse than being muggle-born in their eyes. It was quiet in the White Wyvern but then she could never say that it was super busy and when it was quiet like this and Sonia was essentially alone she brooded and she didn’t like to brood. She once again wished that Salvador had not saddled her with the tavern but she would never have been able to convince him otherwise as he had been a stubborn wildcat. She would prefer to be on some adventure or at her estate on the back of one her abraxans. She blamed Vito for her current brooding topic of immortality and vampirism well Vito and his child Miria. In her way of thinking a child was a better way of immortality than vampirism or horcruxes. A child was after all a little piece of you and someone else and that piece of you would be passed down on as long as your family line existed. She was now all that existed of her family line and if she was ever killed in a most horrendous way nothing of her would remain because she was denied the chance of ever having a child. She had been a vampire for over 150 years and admittedly she did not know many of her own kind. With all that was going on in the world at the moment maybe it was time for her to stop cursing immortality and start living it instead. First she needed to meet a few more vampires though…. |
