When Wes wasn't at the Prophet he could usually be found at the Leaky Cauldron. He had rented a property in the city but admittedly he was very rarely there. The found the pub comforting. There was something homely and familiar about it but he was wasn't sure why*.
He sitting in his usual table stacks of parchment on the table, quill in hand crossing out and making notation after notation. He had a glass of butterbeer but wished it was something a little stronger, fire whiskey perhaps, and a bowl of Irish stew, which was by far his favourite dish. He had just dipped some bread into the stew when he noticed a boy on his own. Wes looked around to see if his parents were nearby but as far as he could tell they weren't. The kid was distinctive with red hair and there were no others around with that hair colour. He seemed to be looking for someone though.
Pushing back his chair Wes got up and headed towards the kid and smiled. "Hi, are you lost or looking for someone, your parents or something. I will stay will if you like. My name is Wes by the way," holding out his hand.

Now that he was a bit more adjusted to the way that the pack lived and the area that their house was in, Hugo was trusted to move about the wizarding world all on his own. He didn't need to go out with another member of the pack any more and so he had decided that he would go to check out the broomsticks at Quality Quidditch Supplies but he thought he had seen Dulf walking past the shop.
Dulf was kind of like an older brother to Hugo by now. He looked up to the older male and wouldn't hesitate to do as he was told, so naturally when he saw him walk past he did his best to follow after him. Although due to Quality Quidditch Supplies being such a popular place he lost Bardulf in the crowd so he headed to the one place that would make sense for the older male to be headed.
The bar.
He made his way to the Leaky Cauldron but looked around with confusion as he was unable to find exactly who he had come for although someone did approach him and introduce themself. He ran a hand through his bleached hair before taking the man's hand.
"Nice to meet you!"
TAGGED: wes hunter NOTES: His hair has been bleached and cut so he more resembles an albino now, I'm just not good at editing hair colour on photoshop XD

'Nice to meet you too,' Wes replied as he took the boys hand. He noticed that the boy hadn't offered his name but maybe he wasn't comfortable giving it. You couldn't never be too sure these days. Still there was something about the boy that made Wes worry a little. For one thing the kid's colouring was not right. He had obviously changed his hair colour recently but why he would do such a thing at his age was beyond Wes's understanding. He also seemed really distracted and though it may just be his age, the kid was obviously not of Hogwarts age as he would be there and not by himself at a bar in Diagon Alley, Wes didn't seem to think so. He also doubted that it was his parents that he was looking for.
"Do you need help," he asked again not pressing for the kids name, "I have been in the Leaky Cauldron for a while now and seen a lot of people come and go. If you are looking for someone in particular and describe them I can tell you if they have been here or not. Why don't you come and sit at my table and I get you a drink. Pumpkin juice or some butterbeer?"
