Graham was grateful that Kalisto was at Hogwarts right now. He was a mess and well aware of it. Even when trying to hide his identity, people always somehow figured out who he was. Many of those people saw the chance to mock or hurt him. He had more enemies than he realized. Or people just liked seeing high and mighty politicians in the dirt. It seemed so once again today when he was just walking through London towards his usual pub when he was held up by three men. Perhaps it was his own mistake for being too proud to go to a muggle bar where nobody knew who he was. And of course these one knew because he recognized them as former colleagues of him too. The ones that had sided with Umbridge.
The blonde kept his head low, hoping his hood would prevent him from being seen. However as he literally bumped against the men. As they spoke to him, mocking him and trying to provoke him, he kept his head low. Graham’s temper was a fickle thing so a small look at their probably smug faces could set him off. The men only became more aggressive when he had decided to ignore him. One of them shouted something that Graham tried to ignore. Another pushed him, causing him to almost fall over, his leg still wasn’t what it used to be. This hand reached to his wand but he immediately knew there was nothing he could do. If he fought or defended himself, of course the ‘aggressive and violent werewolf’ card would be pulled. One of them was an auror to his disgrace. As an ex-Ministry official Graham knew how this shit worked. He stood no chance.
Graham tried to get away but was pulled back, followed by meeting a fist in the face. He cursed under his breath as the hit struck him. His nose broke and he was pushed by the force against the wall. He collapsed on the ground, his head pounding and blood streaming over his face. Very brave indeed, hitting a crippled man who couldn’t fight back because it would be a one way ticket to Azkaban. Luckily the men seemed bored after this. After they all spit on him and made a final insult, they left. Graham felt so goddamn angry. Until recently he would have crushed them, stripped them from everything they’d have. But now he was nothing, nobody and there wasn’t a thing he could do. As he wanted to get up he heard footsteps. “Back for more?” He groaned but when he looked up, he saw someone entirely different.

[/div] [googlefont="Questrial"] ► | Walking through the streets of London people seem to notice a young woman marching or how they would describe stomping down the busy streets all the while kicking something that appeared to be a crumpled up paper while sulking all the while. What these people didn't understand was that this young woman was Jasmine, the youngest Bloodstone whom now is unemployed is trying her hardest to get a job, which unfortunately is quite hard seeing as how half the people who place up job offerings either are old friends of her parents, who decide not give her a chance to work or have supported Umbridge and seeing as how Jasmine is not a supporter of her don't even bat a eyelash before shooing her to the door.
Just once she wishes to find a place that will allow her the chance to prove her worth despite the past involving her family, but something tell's her that won't happen unless she open's her own place. Which made her stop for a moment and picked up the ball and thought for a moment. Instead of looking for a place to work why not take over a new place and hire people to work for her?
It would help other's out that possibly are almost like her, and were never given the chance to prove themselves. Before Jasmine could even open the wade of paper she heard sounds of fighting and ran over to see what was the matter and saw three men beating up another person and she cocked her head then spying one of the men as one's the supported Umbridge.
After the three men left she ran over to the man and heard him speak up about coming back for more. She chuckled and held out her hand to him before smiling..."I would, but something tell's me you've had enough"

Graham blinked and saw in fact not three men but a young woman. Graham frowned at the smile and chuckle. What was funny? His eyes slid to the hand she was holding out, he didn't take it right away. "Do what you cannot resist, I've survived worse," he said with a sigh. Sure he had seen way better days but also way worse. Realizing his nose was bleeding he wiped took his wand to clean himself up. Just because he was without a job didn't mean he had to look like a homeless man. Graham considered getting up himself but eventually took the hand that was offered to him. "Thanks," he mumbled under his breath. His eyes scanned the alley for the men. "You might want to leave soon. It'll be hard for you to make friends when seen around me," he advised her. She helped him getting up, it was the least he could to in order to return a favor.

[/div] [googlefont="Questrial"] ► | "Look if I cared what other's thought of me now, I would be just like my parent's or that stupid idiot Umbridge or Cruella as I like to call her" Jasmine released his hand and pulled out a red hankerchief and held it to his nose before waiting to see if he would cast a spell to fix his nose or wanted to do something else. "I take it those three thugs weren't friends of yours?" she motioned with her head towards the empty alleyway that the three men ran off too. "Oh where are my manners, my name is Jasmine Bloodstone, the newest Professor at Hogwarts!" Jasmine boasted this to the stranger, as if he was a family member or something...which he wasnt. But she didn't care, she would tell it to top of the world if she could, learning she just gain the job not to long ago.

This woman sounded like a strong minded young adult. He had seen this spirit before. It could either lead to great success or great disaster. "Be careful what you say in public. People are always listening even when you think they're not," he advised her quietly. Graham too once was a strong headed individual and look where it got him. After all he had gone through, he saw shadows and heard whispers everywhere. Could it be that he was only paranoid? Afraid of what Umbridge could do. As he stood up again he brushed the dirt from his clothes and straightened it all. Despite that he no longer looked like an upperclass gentle man, he was still one at heart.
A grimace appeared on his aging face when she asked about the three men. "Would you be surprised if I told you those weren't thugs but perfectly high class Ministry workers that once claimed to be my friend. Politics are funny matters," he said bitterly. "If anything I'm the thug. The politician who hid and lied," he shrugged. The only good thing about being at the bottom of society is that nobody could break you further. Life was strange.
He gave the young woman a nod when she introduced herself and then blinked when she enthusiastically told him about her job. "Uh... Well congratulations, Miss Bloodstone," he tried to sound friendly. Being kind wasn't his strongest point. He paused for a moment, remembering his own manners. "I was about to hit the pub. If you'd like I could treat you for a drink as a thank you for helping me and to celebrate your new job." Honestly Graham didn't want to deal with people right now. But he always wanted to make sure that those who did a favor for him got one returned.

[/div] [googlefont="Questrial"] ► | "Like I said don't really care either way, but I'll keep it hush hush for now" Jasmine replied crossing her arms. She disliked Umbridge and would be more then willing to tell her face to face that, if given the chance...but hardly ever since she wanted nothing to go down there for. When the stranger asked to offer to buy her a drink she shrugged and nodded. "First how about a name with the face?" she chuckled to him. Of course this wouldn't be something her parent's or other family members would approve of, but she was by herself...and that was that.

Graham rose an eyebrow, he wondered if this girl was a fool. She was ignorant for sure, thinking she could get away with everything. That was what it was like to be young. Graham remembered being young and powerful. “You would care when they take you to Azkaban,” he said as last advice. But he’d leave it up to her. If she proved to be trouble, he’d have to get away before she pulled him with her into the mess.
When asked for his name, Graham stopped and considered for a moment. Should he lie? He didn’t just want his name to float around the streets like this. Then again people could already easily recognize his face, there was no point in trying to hide. He’d have to make polyjuice if he didn’t want to be seen. But that was a hassle and gross. He still didn’t know if wolfsbane or polyjuice was worse. Considering that polyjuice forced you to drink a person’s hair, probably the latter. “Graham,” he mumbled before he turned his head back and headed into the pub. He’d let her decide if she wanted to follow or not. Either way, he found a quiet place in the back, just how he liked it.

[googlefont="Questrial"] ► | Jasmine smiled and then replied "it's nice to meet you Graham" and then walked after him following him into the bar heading over with him. She sat down and started looking around at their surrondings. "This is cool, first time I am in a bar...so I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing" she chuckled a little under her breath. Jasmine watched as the waitress walked back and forth to some tables before using her magic to send some of the drinks that were to many to different tables before heading over to theirs.
She pulled out a pad and pen asked both of them what they wanted and immediately Jasmine's mouth dropped before replying "uh, what do you recommend?"

"Don't be so quick to say that. You might regret it," he said with a sassy grin that showed some of his former grace. After being settled in his seat, Graham nodded towards the waitress so she could take their order. He didn't want to remain sober much longer. As they waited for the waitress to finish her current activity, Miss. Bloodstone dropped some information that made him raise an eyebrow. "I'm not sure either. Unusually would be the best term I guess. People often come here to hang out with friends. And some to prevent becoming a hermit." He belonged to the second category himself. Graham had lost most of his friends. He could stay home, drinking all day now he had no job or family around. However it'd be his death within days.
Finally the waitress came. "A Bourbon for me please. And a cider for the lady," he ordered when he saw confusion written over her face. As the waitress noted and left Graham turned to his new companion. "I would start slow if I were you. Cider is a nice fresh started. I haven't met anyone who doesn't like it," he told her. They waited for a moment which he preferred to do in silence. Luckily the drinks came quickly so he could toast and take a sip. "So what were you actually planning to do before you had to safe an old man from work bullies?"
Note: it's fine

[googlefont="Questrial"] ► | "Well, I was actually unemployed for awhile, searching for jobs either with the magical and muggle places alike but either they knew who my parents were and didn't like me, or I didn't have the right qualifications to work for the said job" Jasmine replied while waiting for her drink to arrive. Graham explained that this cider was a good drink to start off if you were a beginner like she was and she nodded. "Thanks, sorry if I embarrass you, I do not mean too" "So what about you? What do you do for a living?" Jasmine hoped she wasn't prying into his personal life, but she wasn't quite sure what to talk about really. |

"Finding work is hard these days," he grumbled in reply. He knew what she meant with people rejecting her because of her parents. Well in his case it was because people knew him. Graham Avery had a reputation as possible former death eater and now werewolf traitor. That wasn't the kind of person you wanted to represent your business. Besides they'd most likely get in trouble with the ministry if they hired him. Then added the fact that he wouldn't settle for a simple job. He needed satisfaction in his work, challenges. Knockturn shabby shops won't do. Especially not now his reputation was already shit. A proud man like Graham wouldn't want to be seen there.
The greying blonde chuckled and shook his head. "You couldn't possibly embarrass me more than I've already embarrassed myself," he told her with a sigh. The waitress came in with their drinks, Graham gladly took his and drank. "What do I do? Well currently I drink and waste my life away," he said bitterly. Honestly he wanted to get himself back on track before summer. Then Kallisto would come back and he wanted to provide a stable environment for her and be a father to be proud of. "Before I became this mess I might have been one of the most powerful people of Magical Britain. Respected, loved and hated all at once. Now I'm just hated."
