The library was Selena's happy place, or at least her happiest place. Whatever that was worth when you had serious depression. Reading, and learning shook the girl from her brooding and so she was always drawn to the library. The woman stalked through the rows of shelves, off in her own little world as she looked into what she would need to learn the most, or at the very least what was the most interesting subject available. She had decided that today, she was banned from studying werewolves ore related subjects, Her obsession was beginning to consume her almost as the depression that had plagued her life ever since her mother's mauling. Honestly, both came from the same event and she aimed the blame for almost all of her problems right now squarely at Fenrir Greyback. The monster she couldn't bring herself to refer to as a father.
Selena had began to brood again, slipping back into that same old headspace, and so when she rounded the corner it shocked her slightly when she saw her half-sister. The girl she had never really talked much too. She had resolved to get to know Lambert first, and had been friendly toward Elle when the two were younger but never close. She simply offered a warm greeting when they passed each other in the halls, or chatted briefly with her when they bumped into each other. Now though, things were different. Ever since Fenrir mauled Selena's mother she had backed away from her attempt to befriend her siblings. Indeed she had almost forgotten that Elle existed up until this point. Now that she was face to face with the older Greyback, the recently turned vampire, she mentally slid back to what happened to Lambert. To the awkward hospital visit where she had begged for forgiveness, and looked down at someone she had hated, for what reason? For seeing a different side of someone?
"Hey, Elle." Selena greeted nervously to her older sister. She did her best to offer a smile that she hoped would dispell two years of frosty silence. Selena didn't doubt that her half-sister had heard about what Fenrir had done to her mother and that he had been coming for Selena too. If Elle and Lamb were close, and Selena didn''t know if they were, then maybe Lambert had explained why she had been so resentful toward her family.
