A few days ago Alan had experienced his first full moon without wolfsbane. He usually stole his potion from the Hospital stock. However this month they had an abnormal amount of werewolf patients who all needed their potion in order to survive. Alan might be a thief but he was a responsible healer whp put the patients at the ighest spot. Thus left him without the much needed potion. The night had quite taken it’s toll on the unfortunate healer. His body was damaged and the wounds wouldn’t heal. Still life went on, he couldn’t let anyone notice. Damn these cursed wounds that didn’t heal with magic. He had to stitch some of them close and wear bandages all over his body. It were mostly his arms, legs and chest. Things he luckily didn’t need help with. Had he opened his back, he’d need help patching himself up. The past days extra stuff was added to his routine. He had to drink blood replacing potion and pain killing potions to be able to function properly. Then when work was done, he’d go home and freshen the bandages which were still bloody each day however he saw the wounds slowly closing up which was good. They didn’t seem to be infected either. Today however he realized he was out of silver and dittany. The items needed for the mixture that could close werewolf wounds.
So he went to the apothecary to get those things. And some extra items of course, he didn’t want people to see through him. Alan wore a cap and the hood of his hoodie over his head in the hopes of not being seen. The man quietly gathered his stuff and wanted to pay. Then he realized he had forgotten the dignity. “Oh wait, I’ll quickly grab it. Sorry,” he apologized to the cashier and the people in line. Not wanting to let anyone wait, he sprinted off to grab the jar that contained the herb. However before he could reach it, he ran into someone and clashed hard. He ran with his chest into the other person’s side and he could almost literally feel the stitches snap through his skin. “I’m terribly sorry,” he apologized at first, ignoring the stinging pain in his chest. However it didn’t take long before he noticed the wounds had torn open and blood was pouring out. Leaking through the bandages. “Shit,” he mumbled to himself as he quickly grabbed the jar he needed. Just then the blood started to leak through his shirt. “Oh no,” he gasped and quickly tried to cover the small blood mark which was getting bigger. He had to hurry.

River had woken with a start that morning in their bed in the Leaky Cauldron. The young seer had a small prophecy, nothing too important she hoped, but something that would happen today she was sure of. But not yet, she had a few hours yet. Which was good, because she was sure she knew exactly what she needed. Or at least some of it. As she got dressed she thought over it, deciding to just get some of everything. The man in her 'prophecy' was clearly trying to hide his wounds, and if she was to make them worse she felt obligated to at least try and discreetly help him. Once fully dressed River grabbed her wand and money before making her way out for the day. First stop - the apothecary.
Once she arrived at the apothecary she gathered everything she could think of that would help tend to a bleeding wound, also grabbing things like silver just in case. She guessed by the secret and lack of spells the man was either a werewolf or a vampire. She wouldn't judge. She didn't at all agree with the current state of Britian's Magical politics, though overall it had very little to do with the American born artist. Healing potions weren't something the curly haired youth was good at, not to mention she didn't know when he'd appear so instead of going back to the Leaky Cauldron or off to her cousins, she decided to stay close to the apothecary.
Eventually she recognised him and followed him inside. She was too shy though to approach him, or to change the prophecy and so she waited by the dittany for him. Eventually the collision happened and as he apologised she grabbed his wrist, holding up her own bag. "I have what you need" River uttered in a small voice before trying to quickly take him out of the store to go somewhere he could fix himself up in private.

Alan was panicking, he had to act fast. He couldn't allow himself to faint in the middle of a shop. And now he'd bumped into someone his wounds had taken a hit. "Huh?" His wrist was grabbed by the person. Did he anger them? "I'm sorry, please," his eyes begged the person to let him go so he could patch himself up. "Eh? What?" What did she mean? What did she want? What was going on? How did she know what he needed? Before he knew it the stranger pulled him along, out of the shop. He didn't have the strength left to fight back. Alan panted as they moved, his vision was starting to get blurry. He had to hurry. "W-who are you?" Was this even really happening? This all felt surreal. No, it was real. The pain proved it. Just things did not go as planned.
note: sorry it's short I didn't want to jump too far ahead

River gave the man a small smile that she hoped was reassuring though she doubted it. This admittedly was rather strange, but River always tried to make sense of things she saw, wanting to try and help people as best as she could. She wasn't angry in any way, just in a hurry to get him back to her room so he could fix the wounds she'd caused to re-open. "I'm here to help you" she nodded, taking him back to the leaky cauldron so she could help him. She kept glancing to him, biting her lip before looking ahead.
Eventually they arrived, she handed him the bag of things she'd gotten earlier and pushed him into the room gently, closing the door behind him for privacy. "Th-that bag should have everything you need... you're... you're not just a wizard are you?"
note: short is okay, quality over quantity :3

She was here to help him? Alan still didn't get it but it seemed he had no other option than to go with it. "Um... Thanks?" When he was dragged to the Leaky Cauldron, he started having second thoughts. Just what did this person to do with him. Alan started to jolt back but even despite being obviously taller and more muscular, he didn't have the slightest strength anymore. "J-just what do you plan on doing?" The werewolf sputtered nervously. "Huh?" He was pushed into a room and the door closed behind him. He was alone now, the door separating them.
Alan knelt down and opened the bag to check what was in it. He heard the question but remained silent. Instead he swallowed and took off his shirt to start working on closing the wound. It was quite some work but he made it somehow. When he was done, he magically cleaned the blood and laid down on the floor, his bandaged chest exposed as his shirt was beyond saving. "I'm finished," he told the person beyond the door. "Thanks for the help... How much do you get from me?"
