Odin's reasons for being so involved in the army was simple - he loved killing. Had loved it as a human and did so more freely as a vampire. His sire had taught him very well, taught him tricks he had never even dreamed were possible when he was human. Weirdly enough though, he also did have a bit of a moral compass. Slight but it existed. He did not turn people that were under the age of seventeen nor did he condone it.
It had been a day or so since Emi had been dispatched to see about recruiting the Gladstone teenager. He'd gone to recruit an older student vampire by the name of Zane Augustin. His endeavor had been successful in that the young vampire planned to enlist once he had finished his education. That was fine by Odin. What mattered was that the young vampire had a bit of guidance.
Stopping by Emi's current haunt, he knocked on the door. He had warned ahead of time of his planned arrival and was as prompt as he always was.

Ever since the odd meeting, date? With a certain Hogwarts student, Emi hasn’t been able to get him out of his head. It was strange, Emillian hasn’t felt this way in centuries. What was it that made Xavier so special? The meeting didn’t go as planned but the old vampire didn’t mind. He had a good afternoon and actually had enjoyed this life for a moment. Between all seriousness, some simple moments like that were special. Emillian was staying in a rental apartment in London but would soon buy his own place. The Romanian vampire had decided to stay in this country for at least a few decades. The current politics asked him to be. Oh silly humans waging wars they couldn’t win. Currently he was feeding upon one of those silly humans. A young adult woman, fully grown. Emillian envied her beauty. Her round hips and soft skin. Her beauty however wouldn’t last forever unless he turned her, which Emillian rarely did. He didn’t like being a sire and watching people while he could be writing or painting. But for Xavier he’d make an exception. There was a knock on the door, making Emillian look up from the beauty’s neck. He licked the blood clean and handed her a cloth she could press on it. “Wait for me, love. Have some tea and biscuits,” he told the human as he walked to the door to open. “Odin, good to see you. I was just having dinner, would you like to join in?” odin delaney

"Good to see you as well," Odin said, glancing over at the human as he made his way into Emi's home. "No thank you. I'm in the mood for something more masculine tonight." He had the very morsel in mind too and would likely delight in the humans body before feeding. He licked his lips a little at the thought. Odin very much enjoyed being what he was and that was no secret. "I've come to ask how it went with the boy. Did he at least seem amiable to guidance?" It did their cause little good to have fledglings going wild. This generations humans were especially testy.

Emillian grinned and shrugged when Odin told him he preferred something more masculine. "Can't help you with that, neither I will do I'm afraid," he told the other vampire as he settled down on the bed of the room he'd rented. "Why are you here, came to see your old friend?" The reason was made clear pretty quickly when Odin asked about Xavier. "Ah! Young mister Gladstone," he nodded of course he remembered the sweet flower boy. "He'd consider my offer. He is quite good for a freshly turned without a sire. Most go crazy within days and leave a blood path behind," he told his friend and he patted the spot next to him for Odin to sit down. The long haired vampire rolled over and grabbed a flower themed poetry book. "My little bats are keeping an eye on him. Haven't had to babysit a fletchling in along while. Turning people is more your thing, isn't it?" odin delaney
