And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain
❧ Tracey had been trying to get through a day of work without worrying if the next attack is around the corner. The wolves made perfectly clear that they wanted to make a statement, that they want to show how dangerous they are but Tracey needed to fight for those who couldn't the kids who are victim to this. It was her duty to look out for people and so she went to check up on Harry who she knew had some issues himself. She suspected something was up but she never told him that. She just bought him a coffee and handed it to the guy in the local coffee shop.
"Hey." she said simply before taking a seat.

Papers were piled on the table before him as he tried to write more music for the band - he had taken up song writing when he was still a student at Hogwarts and played the guitar he saved for after he was done with schooling. He never thought he would be in a band with a guy he had fallen deeply for, and knew that both men were damaged from their pasts. He never talked about what had happened in the past, and decided to keep it from friends. He only told his boyfriend about it, and they both just clicked.
The young Jones male had looked up, smiling a bit as he saw Tracey with the cup of coffee, making drop the pen on the table and took it happily. The man was addicted to the stuff and people knew it well enough. Sometimes he couldn’t handle early mornings without it. Some would have it ready for him.
”Hey yourself.” he said and took a sip. ”Thank you.”

❧ Tracey smiled at her friend, hoping he was doing okay and eyed his music for a moment before giving him a nod. She owed him coffee anyway and it was time for her to catch up with her friends. Tracey never felt popular in her life and it was hard to actually make friends knowing she was in the same classroom as Draco Malfoy her entire hogwarts life. "How are you?" she asked him and took a sip of her own coffee as she eyed him. "We haven't talked in forever."

Harry kept the coffee near his nose, taking a deep inhale and smiled. The male was pleased that Tracey knew how he liked his coffee. No one ever failed him in that general area - they knew they had to give him coffee or he’d knock them off their stool. Sometimes it was the only thing that can keep him focused and not letting his brain scatter everywhere when he’s trying to work on new music for his band. ”I’ve been okay. Just tired.” he admitted as he eyed the sheets of music. ”I know. We’ve been busy with our own lives. Like, we need a vacation.” he joked. Nope. He would never take a break until his boyfriend asked him to do so. --- tracey davis

And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain
❧ Tracey hated this war and honestly it started to put the people she loved in a danger she did not or ever would put them in. Her eyes were on him and her lips were sipping from her own coffee as she listened to Harry. He was such a sweet guy and he was lucky with his boyfriend, she always told him that.
"I am sure you can take a break from writing music here and there." she chuckled and shook her head. "How is your family? The attack at the hospital was terrible." she sighed.

The attack on the hospital was horrible, but he knew everyone he loved was okay and that's what mattered to Harry. No one would want to see him angry, and he knew his siblings can look out for themselves. He didn't need to be there 24/7 and watch them like some of them expected him too. He was eighteen, had a right to have a life and refused to let family problems get in his way of a future. Yes, he had been there for his siblings when asked, but sometimes he wanted to spend some time alone or with Declan. The guy kept him together. "They're good. The hospital attack was terrible but I heard they're okay." he admitted as he took a sip of his coffee, feeling it course through his veins. He needed the stuff to keep him sane, or somewhat sane instead of stressing over things. tracey davis
