PROVIDENCE GRACE MOORE
Age: 32 || Half-Blood || Hufflepuff Alunuma || Widowed with 1 child || Divination Professor || Played By Florence Welch
Providence is a character that I had for awhile and would play myself except that I want her to interact with Berkley and also since Berk is a Professor already and so will Providence I don’t want to take up and not sure that I am able to play two Professors on site. If she adopted however I will play her son Jericho who is nearly Hogwarts age.
Providence has a rather tragic past. While at Hogwarts she got hit in the head with a bludger during her first Quidditch match as chaser in her third year a fell off her broom. Since then she has had a fear of heights and suffers from severe headaches/migraines that no doctor or healer can assist her with. She also is not fond of the sun as it does not help with the headaches.
She married her Hogwarts sweetheart Ajax Moore, who was a hit-wizard with the Ministry of magic and died while apprehending a possible dark wizard. He died on Jericho’s first birthday. There was never an investigation into his death and she was never given an apology for it. She has a deep mistrust of the Ministry in general. She was working for the Ministry at the time as an Unspeakable and quit shortly there after.
She lives just outside of Hogsmeade with her in-laws, her son and her husky Zeus who is her constant companion. Though not a seer, and probably wouldn’t want to be, she is very intuitive, and has serious skills in Divination magic especially tarot, scrying and ruin magic. She is not a fool, loves tea, chocolate and baking. She is also temperamental and a bit bossy though not rude and suffers from anxiety.
She is a close friend of Berk as they were in the same house together, though she was a couple of years older than him and she might had realised that he was a seer though they never spoke about it. I would like her to assist him in understanding the visions and maybe also help control them a little.
