Classes had begun which was something that Zander wasn't wholly happy with. Classes were mostly a bore to him and he already knew what he wanted to do with his life so what was the point, really? It was a waste of his time. Zander had been out of the common room since that morning and due to a lot of distractions, he had stayed out of it almost all day. In fact, he didn't head back until it was almost curfew. Barely making it on time, he went up to his dorm and plopped down onto his bed. "Man, that was close," he said to the people in the room that were getting ready for bed.

left right left We all fall down like toy soldiers It had felt weird, coming back to Howarts as a N.E.W.T student. It had always felt as if graduation was miles away, but now that the school was allowing them to specialize and tailor their education for their needs, and giving them free periods to help them manage their workload it felt as if graduation was simply knocking upon the door. Two years, that was the amount of time that he had left ahead of an eternity of adulthood. As he lay upon his four-poster bed, a dormmate burst in putting to words just how close he ahd come to being out and about past curfew. He bit his tongue however as he avoided allowing his jealousy to show. Oh how he wished he had minor problems such as that to deal with.  "Glad you made it... wouldn't want to be out of the running for the House Cup so early, huh?"  He got up from his bed and began to search through his trunk for his pajamas, it was about  bit by bit, torn apart

Zander never had paid much attention to the academic side of school. He took classes that he either found easy or interesting. Bonus points if they were both. He was much more focused on maintaining his physique and doing well on the Quidditch pitch. As a half-veela, his personal appearance mattered quite a bit.

"I could earn it back, don't you worry," he said with a wink as he shrugged out of his coat and hung it up by his bed. His eyes followed John as the other boy dug around in his trunk. When had John Boone gotten attractive? Well, he probably always had been and he'd just been too busy to notice. But he was definitely noticing it now. "Did you change the way you do your hair?"
