Honestly, Gemma's seventh year was a bit of a blur to her. She remembered flirting with the care of magical creatures professor and needing to figure out what her life was going to be like after she left Hogwarts. The only thing that seemed to stay constant was her friend, Niven Mactavish.
when her seventh year ended she wasn't a hundred percent sure how to go about things. Potions had become a passion at the end of her seventh year and she had gotten decent NEWT scores which kind of surprised her. So, GEmma did what she thought she was supposed to do. She got a job. She started working at Slug and jiggers as an apprentice potion mistress. So far she enjoyed it or maybe she just enjoyed the view. her mentor, Mathis lyon, was quite handsome.
what is it with me and older guys? or mentor like people? she thought and shook away the thought as she made her way into Hogsmeade. She was a bit surprised that she had managed to stay in touch with niven, but she was also grateful. He was the reason she was heading to the three broomsticks today.
