 Ever since Ollie had saved him from the snares of Venus' bullying, Lazarus found himself growing closer with the older Lion. There was no doubt in his mind that he had trusted the other male, in fact it got so strong that if Ollie told him to jump from something he probably would have.
With classes done for the day, Lazarus dressed himself in a rather muggle like fashion. He wore a black and green shirt with sleeves that ended at the elbows. Americans would refer to it as a baseball t-shirt but he just thought it looked cool. This was paired with a beige set of cargo pants and running shoes.
Today was his birthday, and due to his status as one of the few muggleborn Slytherins he tried his best to keep it from his housemates... instead he hid himself away in the Boathouse, planning on celebrating his birthday in the safety that was solitude... something that was soon taken from him.
Out came his wand and in one swift movement he spun around to face the direction that he heard footsteps coming from. Was this a friend or foe?
"What brings you here?!"

The boathouse wasn't usually a favourite spot, but Ollie did sometimes come here with boys, or end up drinking down here. Today, he was just walking. It was a slow day and honestly the boathouse wasn't the worst place to get away from the other Gryffindors. he loved his dorm mates, they were all great, and most of them were hot as hell, but sometimes even someone like Ollie would get sick of the same company over and over again. Ollie was just contemplatying this when he heard the startled yell of a young friend.
"Relax, Laz. Your high, frightened voice isn't exactly sexy." he joked, playfully to the other, considering him for a moment. It dawned on Ollie a few moments later that the two of them had been talking, and Ollie remembered. It was Lazarus' birthday. Ollie approached the other with a grin, stopping and leaning against the wall with a playful smirk. "I remember what today is." He grinned.

The moment he saw it was Ollie, he slowly began to calm down. He knew this individual. This individual was safe. There was no chance of harm to come from this older student... in fact this student had saved him from a bully in the past and that was the main reason that he relaxed. One doesn't simply save a younger student from harm only to hurt them during the next school year... right?
The moment he said he remembered what the day was he couldn't help but smile. Did Ollie really care that much about him?
"You're not going to say Tuesday or something stupid like that are you?"
