 Christmas had arrived at Hogwarts and that meant that once again the halls of Hogwarts had emptied. There were very few students who stayed at Hogwarts for the winter holidays and Timmy was one of the few who had no other options to turn to because although his father was alive and well, there was no way that he would welcome him back after he had killed his mother; whether it had truly been a mistake or not. In a way, he could have had the common room entirely to himself, but because he knew that his best friend prefered not to go home for the holidays due to his abusive father, he chose instead to make his way to the library on the second floor to get to work on the homework they had been set for the holidays. It wasn't a lot but it was better than waiting around completely alone with nothing to do. Hopefully Kane could help feel him with the holiday cheer that he had not felt since the death of his mother and help to entertain his bored mind.
