The wind tussled the adolescent's hair gently as he made his way towards the forest, a hood pulled over his head and his house scarf wrapped tight around his neck. He hated the full moons that were in the middle of winter such as tonight's was. It was a cold and unforgiving full moon that made the exhaustion and the ocassional pain that most werewolves experienced, especially since one's clothing often didn't survive the experience of a shift.

It was an experience that wasn't particularly enjoyable, but one that a person... no a being grew used to.  Tonight was going to be another full moon. It was growing colder as the night grew older and the first year made his way to the woods. It would be the fourth time that he turned at Hogwarts... and his fourth time meeting up with the other werewolves from the school... but for the first time it appeared as if he were the first one here.

Mind you, he could also be the only one this month given Christmas was only three days out from the public holiday, but he doubted that he would be.

Malachi usually went home for the holidays but this time around he had decided to stay at Hogwarts. Well, he had been asked to since his mom was going to be busy with stuff with the werewolf army. Running down into the forest, Malachi was already used to this life by now. He liked to not have torn clothes so he stripped down to his underwear as he felt the change approaching. “Hi,” he said to the other person that had shown up, rubbing his arms for warmth before tucking his clothes behind some brush to keep them safe.
